When You Enter
When you visit the Broad Street church of Christ, you will find a warm and welcoming family of God’s people. You will be greeted by someone at the door who can answer questions and direct you where you wish to go.
In Bible Class
On Sunday mornings (9:00 a.m.) and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m.), we have Bible classes for children and adults of all ages. Qualified teachers with a record of faithfulness and integrity lead us in conversations about God and Scripture.
In Worship
Congregational worship is held Sunday mornings (10:00 a.m.) and evenings (6:00 p.m.). We usually begin services by expressing sympathy for those in need and congratulating those in triumph. Next, we enter into worship with the singing of hymns to praise God and encourage one another (Ephesians 5:19). We then pray together as a representative of the congregation leads us (Acts 4:31). We also partake of the Lord’s Supper to reflect on the death of Jesus (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). Finally, we receive a lesson of encouragement from the Scriptures (Acts 14:27). In each segment of our worship, we attempt to follow Scripture and honor God.
